A new computer tool for you?
Google Websites is a new computer tool. A brief description of it, and a link to a tutorial, can be found at

This software, introduced in 2004, is for people who are not familiar with the HTML language, but who want to create standard websites.

Why do you think it was a "sale pitch"?
I wrote the Google Sites tutorial to help people. I am not selling anything; the tutorial is FREE. Google did not ask me to write it. I am sharing the link because I know that many people will benefit from
my labor. Would you also object if I were the author of the tutorial were John Smith, who I do not know? What is wrong with sharing FREE useful information?

No, this forum is not special; some people on other forums (should I say fora?) are likely to benefit from my tutorial. That is why I am promoting it everywhere I belong. Naturally, I would not do this if the product were far sale. That would violate the rules of our communication. No one likes to be inundated by commercial advertising.
