I am a new user experiencing difficulties with links, as documented at
www.ephilosopher.com/philosophy-forums/c...-fusion-is-not-dead/
My post has five links, three in the body of the message and two in my signature file. The first two links in the body are working fine. The next link in the body is the same as the link in my signature file. This was my mistake, but this is not relevant. For some reason that link does not take me to the specified file. It takes me to CSAM (at Montclair State University), but not to my file. The second link in the signature file does the same thing.
Can someone explain this to me? Is there an on-line tutorial about this website for new users? Am I the only one who would benefit from it?
First I thought it was my mistake. But that does not seem to be the case.
The third link in the body should have been
h*ttp/*/csam.montclair.edu/~kowalski/lcf/ (asterisks do not belong to it).
Likewise the second link in my signature file should have been
h*ttp/*/csam.montclair.edu/~kowalski/life/intro.html (asterisks do not belong to it).
I am inserting asterisks to avoid truncations, etc. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.
